Jessica Monroe Fine Art first opened in the Fall of 2023 with a modest collection of bird and butterfly prints.
Throughout 2024, this online gallery grew to include an inventory of landscapes, embellished limited editions and original paintings. These collections are the final stage of my artistic practice- the results of using paint to understand the incredible, dynamic wildlife of our planet. The energy in this artwork is engaging and invites the viewer to contemplate an ever-present world just beyond our own. I offer this art as a way to bring the beauty and wisdom I find outdoors into the spaces that surround you.

Artist Biography
Jessica Monroe is best known for her large-scale oil paintings inspired by the natural world. Interested in using art as a means to bring awareness of environmental issues, her paintings are full of energy and movement, celebrating the beauty of her subject. Exploring delicate and endangered ecosystems, Monroe often works outdoors using watercolor, pastels and a camera, which inform her studio practice.
Monroe holds a Bachelor of Arts from Southwestern University and studied painting at New York University and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She collaborates often with local nature centers. For over twenty years, Jessica has exhibited her work throughout Texas and the Rio Grande Valley, and taught art to students of all ages.
