Layers on layers of greens and blues form grasses and cactus pads. The colors are tapestry like, woven together to tell a story of interconnections. "Early Morning Lookout II" is a large 36" x 54" edition framed in white.
To create this Edition, artist Jessica Monroe started with an archival print of an original oil painting. She then enriched the colors by building layers of paint to give the image depth. Almost every part of an edition is repainted to create a unique version of the original. Each edition has unique variations, is numbered, and signed.
